Virgin Mobile Offers Great Prepaid Cell Phone Plans
Virgin Mobile has a motto of "Don't throw your money away" and we couldn't agree more. If you want quality prepaid cellular service then Virgin Mobile is where you need to be.
How can you go wrong with a great selection of no contract smartphones and unlimited plans? Well you cannot!
Not ready for all the unlimited options, then certainly you're aware of payLo. These are three simple plan choices which you can customize to fit your budget.
Let's jump right into the unlimited prepaid cellular service plan.
Prepaid Cell Phone Features
Simply amazing is how to describe these "Beyond Talk Plans." These are the goodies that you get in unlimited quantity:
- 3G
- Email & IM
- Mobile Web
- Google Maps
- Blackberry Maps
- Blackberry Messenger
- Blackberry App World
- Android Market
- Foursquare
- YouTube
These guys are pretty cocky because they actually dare you to find a better plan. But they can back the talk up because the pricing speaks for itself.
Best Prepaid Wireless Plans
These Beyond Talk Plans include unlimited web, data, messaging, and email, along with hundreds of minutes. All starting at just $25/month.
Beyond Talk Plans | Web Data Messaging & Email | Anytime Minutes |
$35/month | Unlimited | 300 min. |
$45/month | Unlimited | 1200 min. |
$55/month | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Be Careful Blackberry Users
Blackberries can be found on the Virgin Mobile wireless plans but there are some caveats.
Update: no longer do you have to pay an additional $10/month when using a Blackberry. But since this is a prepaid cellular service you will need to use a Blackberry purchased from Virgin.
Email we're gonna break some hearts when we say this...
Access to corporate email is not included or available with your Virgin Mobile Blackberry smartphone.
Top Phones Available
Sometimes we gripe that the prepaid cell phone plans are great but they are lacking with their phone selection which is not the case here.
You are going to be pleasantly surprised by what's currently available:
- Motorola Triumph
- LG Optimus V
- Samsung Intercept
- Samsung Restore
- Blackberry Curve 8530
- LG Rumor Touch
- LG Rumor 2
There's a smartphone to suit any of your needs. Whether you're a social butterfly, a gamer or productivity maniac you got options.
Again we must remind you with a prepaid smartphone be prepared to pay more for your phone upfront. But don't worry. It beats being locked into a 2yr contract filled with expensive early termination fees.
Four Ways to Pay
The days of having to go and buy a phone card each month are over.
Convenience is what you're looking for and Virgin Mobile knows this so they allow you to pay in four formats:
- Credit
- Debit
- PayPal
- Cash via Top-Up cards
Ok so we weren't completely honest there you can still go to your local retailer and purchase a Top-Up card to pay for your monthly service. But we're confident the first three payment options are going to win you over with their simplicity.
Have you always felt as though on a postpaid wireless cell phone plan you were being raked over the coals in fees and taxes?
This is now history!
The pricing that you see is exactly what you pay. The only fee you pay is the nominal tax which would accompany any retail purchase. Again, saving you lots of money.
